Truly Super
TRULY SUPER
Super Bowl Number Fifty,
A spectacular affair.
My favorite part,
Up in the air.
Five fighter jets,
Stirred hearts of the world.
Flying in formation,
As the flag unfurled.
A tribute to America,
Televised to many lands.
Patriotism at its very best,
We are in good hands.
Our nation's finest,
Trained to serve.
Protect our homeland,
More than we deserve.
Bi-planes in World War One,
Become an Ace by downing five.
Their courage changed the world,
Many sons came home alive.
Big Bombers all the rage,
The Second World War was here.
Fighters for support,
Men who knew no fear.
Korea came along,
South against the North.
Jets now ruled the skies,
Our nation knew their worth.
Protect us in the air,
Be proud of what you do.
Let the world see who you are,
Honor the Red, the White, the Blue.
