From the anthology, Monster Trees, a work in progress.

Truly I Cannot Truly I cannot surpass this serene soul ride with you, your quiet-eye caresses, like petals of the primrose, falling from calm gusts after a rain, disclose in the stars my hand to grasp the hidden stone contained within. I am convinced there are steep canyons in your soul, as I turn the brass key to our door of private delights, our paradise so exciting, so shattering to the touch, we can bear no more. In your face there is an astonishing peace, So intense, so fragrant of love’s perfume, I wonder if it is possible to breathe again.
