True Love Waits
Sonnet 1.......R E G R E T
Your love has only given mournful tears,
My shattered heart is sombre filled with pain.
I stand alone, you left so many fears,
And broke my trust can't fall in love again.
The charm of love your eyes no longer hold,
Those lovely lies were curse can't change the fate.
Your love is rusted grey can't shine like gold,
And I have burnt myself in fire of hate.
Now I shall chain my thoughts won't roam in past,
I know it's hard but time can help forget.
Your love I feel remains my first and last,
My dream of life shall end with cold regret.
I free myself from pledge of love I made,
Although I wish, my life you would have stayed.

Sonnet 2.........Walls of Silence
To me, a silent stranger, you've become,
Please talk to me, help keep our love alive.
This bitter quiet leaves affection numb,
With walls of silence love can not survive.
We prayed our wondrous love would never end,
Recall our fun and laughter in the rain.
I'll never let those memories descend,
Your haunting silence now drives me insane.
Let's now forgive mistakes of long ago,
Fly from the sad confines of loneliness.
Break down these walls of silence, let love grow,
I yearn for yesterday's togetherness.
You are my only love, to this I swear,
But walls of silence leave me cold and bare.
