Trouble

When trouble comes a knocking what do you do, Do your legs go to jelly, do you feel some fear too. Is your mind in turmoil, trying hard to sort it out, Do you ever stop to wonder what this is all about. We have all been there if only for an instant or two, When trouble comes a knocking what do you do. Have you ever been out driving, having a great day, When you go past a parked police car, what do you say. Have I been speeding, was he looking at me go by. Do you look in your rear view in case he exits that lay-by. When trouble comes a knocking what do you do. We all have that moment of doubt I often wonder why, If you have done nothing wrong, there is no need to cry. Just carry on along the way, a person normal and sound, Who's had a moment in life when that ripple comes around. © Dave Timperley 5 October 2016

I rarely speed, Dave but metaphorically I am always looking in the rear view. What would life be without an occasional ripple? Enjoyed the read today my friend.

Feel the beat of this one Dave. Good one to get just before popping off to bed. Glad there is more than just me who went to University of life and had the odd knock. Regards DAVID.
