A total of twelve woman were tried, one here in York, eleven at Lancaster Gate, where ten were found guilty and hung.”

hey, this is sure interesting. I finally found one still on page 6 that I had not seen yet. Did you use a translator on google, Harry? Or do you know how to talk this way? And was this a true story? THis was a contest and winners' list I had avoided, so I am glad to see you won. A very belated congratulations.

Very cool use of the dialect to describe the witch trial, Harry. I hadn't heard of Sir James Althem before, but it remnded me of the Salem witch trials that took place hundreds of years ago in the U.S. Best wishes for success in Deb's contest! Love, Carolyn

Interesting write and the dialect too.. So these women were a threat because of their talents to make more money than men at that time? My word just think what would have happen to the Oprah's of the world today if this was still the case. We sure live in a crazy world - Wilma
