Tremble At Loves New Dawn

i stand on guard at loves new dawn ply my services against lusts sharp thorns theses gates reach to heaven but in hell start yet still seem small against the walls of my heart a striking wind swirls between my ears as butterflys dance on my dinner. i sit on guard at loves new dawn were once i sat a fool, a pawn with all the instincts of a child just born i defend your honour at loves new dawn when these gates retract and crumbling walls fall and the smog of dust has cleared together we will tremble at loves new dawn knowing the night never lived up to it's fears
