Treaty of Waitangi

from then to now the government can't hide,
freedom the Maori wanted, from oppressing minds

as a culture in this land, now we had a voice,
140 years it took to realize,

still fighting the system for retribution sort,
they acknowledge now that they were wrong,
we always knew this, this is why we fort.
