Travels In the Mind
I’ve seen some places in my time
So many more to see
No longer can I travel there
If only it could be...
The heathered lochs of Ireland
How could I resist
Emerald green grasses shinning
In the morning mist…
The jungles in the Amazon
Where hidden treasures lay
In leaves ’n mosses to be found
To cure all men, they say…
Great glaciers thick with icy caps
Fresh water they contain
They’re melting fast, soon to be gone
No water to remain!
For now, the photos of our world
Give pleasure to my mind
But let them stay in nature yet
To see for all mankind.
