TRANSMUTATION

TRANSMUTATION I never considered transmutation Yet things look so different today Now reflecting an altered view Demanding serious contemplation Some radical change is underway Feeling I’m something really new Genetics affected by perturbation I’m almost an alien form, in a way So to my original identity, adieu And for most others, a fascination Flesh and blood, and part electronic My nerves connect a different way I feel alive and very strong, it’s true Because parts of me are now bionic Such rapid evolution one must obey As a new species, were are very few The way it happened is quite ironic A new TV series, what could I say To play an astronaut and a hero too Six million dollars makes me iconic

outstanding, Howard. Your title is perfectly suited for your poem for the man who's parts are now bionic and then ending it with the Six Million Dollar Man reference was brilliant. Well done, Sir. Have a pleasant evening, Sara
