Transition

TRANSITION Life is a stage You crawl today, you walk tomorrow You develop the wings to fly, Until you go to the great gulf course in the sky Life is a stage You mumble today, you speak tomorrow Then you have the voice to address the universe, Until you are invited to the world of silence Life is a stage You are a boy today, a man tomorrow Then you get the balls to play the game of pool, Until you violate the 8-ball rule Life is a stage You are a neophyte today, a maven tomorrow Then you get skill to impart humanity, Until you terminate the earth treaty.
