Trampoline

This ever changing variance in position Leads me to a sad derision And i thought you were my one fixed star But the drifting compass drifts afar My trampoline your pitch is perfect Missing sometimes but not far off it My hopeful heart your feet have landed But not a moment and then it ended Now on your upward bounce from worth i ask that you consider earth For when the bends of space have shifted This trampled man will keep you lifted.
