Trainride Into Tomorrow
I take that trainride into tomorrow
I tear the ticket and take the trip
Now I wonder and I worry
Is this the dawn of life or is this the dusk of death?
All alone and alienated...I rush aboard to take the ride
Now my past is pushing fast upon me
I cannot run away and hide
My future is uncertain
I'm filled with endless fears and doubts
Synthetic saviors come to save my soul
I hear sadness,screams,and shouts
I stay enroute even when the train goes off the tracks
On that narrow road into a new day there is no turning back
I can hear the whistle wailing
I can hear the sirens sing
I will die a fallen freebird before I live my life in chains
Can I be forgiven for all my filthy deeds?
They disappear just like a dream
I take that trainride into tomorrow as God opens up the gates of change
