Tragedy

Dark clouds over the valley of my reality. A mistake - irreversible. You were the tragedy of my life. A decision that seems so poor in retrospect. The sorrow that fret away my courage. Yes! You were the tragedy of my life. You made me fall, you made me howl. I became a lachrymose, mistake was mine. I hate to say but I gave you that right. A topper became a back bencher. Popped up my shattered confidence. What could be a dire consequence. I tried so hard to get so far! My mistakes still taught me the right! My sedulous efforts helped me thrive! I can’t be annoyed, Even though you were the tragedy of my life, Coz you helped me to become determined and wise! STRAND CHOICE F, any form, any theme Poetry Contest Sponsored by: Brian Strand
