Tradition
Chilling winter breeze swirling all around
Glistening snow dancing gently to the ground
Blanket of white a soft sparkling crystal hue
Lights glowing on the tree silver red and blue
Cinnamon spice and chocolate wafting everywhere
Silver bells plays softly a I snuggle in my chair
Waiting for the cookies to turn a golden brown
Thinking of our Savior with his heavenly crown
Voices coming up the walk remind me of my joy
Decorating the cookies fun for each girl and boy
Making memories with family each and every year
Singing carols as we work brings fun we hold dear
Traditions of the holidays are much more than a gift
Playing in the snow gives everyone a giggly lift
Coming close as family working sharing and laughing too
Creating a bond I hope will last their whole life through
