Traces of Me and You

Traces of me and you So many memories keep flooding through my aged mind I am transfixed as I ponder the rapid passage of time In everything that I see and everything that I do I see traces and reminders of me and you I see traces of places that we've been to I see traces of faces of people we knew In everything that I see and everything that I do I see traces and reminders of me and you I see traces of lace, is a reminder of you I see traces of spaces between us two In everything that I see and everything that I do I see traces and reminders of me and you Too fast the years have passed, and my memories fading too But, I still see traces and reminders of me and you. Yes it's so sad when these ones lose their faculties, and the mind goes. I see it over and over in my visits to the elderly, blank stare with a faint look of familiarity. Thanks for your visits and comments much appreciated.
