Town of Destruction
Been waiting for this moment
Been looking forward to this time
And it arrived so quick
That it's seemed to pass me by
Left behind all i've known
Trying to read what i've written in stone
As rain begins to fall
And cuts the touch out from my lips
I reach below the ground
And suddenly feel the world begin to flip
Standing up right
Or are we really up side down?
Peering straight ahead, I see the asfault of this town
Burning bridges that we've built
I notice your eyes, as they fill with guilt
Towers fall, and stars begin to crumble
As you watch me here, leaving my mind for it is clear
I hate to notice you in my persevere
