Town of Destruction

Been waiting for this moment Been looking forward to this time And it arrived so quick That it's seemed to pass me by Left behind all i've known Trying to read what i've written in stone As rain begins to fall And cuts the touch out from my lips I reach below the ground And suddenly feel the world begin to flip Standing up right Or are we really up side down? Peering straight ahead, I see the asfault of this town Burning bridges that we've built I notice your eyes, as they fill with guilt Towers fall, and stars begin to crumble As you watch me here, leaving my mind for it is clear I hate to notice you in my persevere
