Touch
Why didn't you touch me?
Was the timing not right?
Was it too late, to sudden?
Too sneaky or scandalous?
Why didn't you touch me?
Did I say something wrong?
By being honest, uncandid
And by being myself?
If it's happened once
I can't help but wonder
Why didn't it happen again?
Afraid of what we might feel?
That you might fall again?
That we might lie, cheat, avoid, scream
Hit or treat the other unkind?
Why didn't you touch me?
I think I know Why
