Tormented
In a voice filled with contempt
Engulfed with malice and dread,
Seducing the soul
To a mad stream of corruption
Reaping fear and loneliness
Casting anguish and sorrow,
Oh what a seductress you were
But oh what a fool was I
Helplessly falling for the lies
Turned to torment and pain,
Too late to regain
What had once been sane
Hardened and frozen
Through time and place,
To fall all over again
With no return to my old face
