Took Over

I lost my brother I know he is forever gone Lost in a way That his mind is not here Tears run down my cheek As I watch the streets Took him over Never home, Never listen, Running wild I always wonder if it was My parents fault He never grew up He was never taught He swore he knew He always fought Young, but grown Stuck behind a wall of stone Always been focused Now he is into the wrong things The streets locked him down It chased him left When he knew it was not right My brother, lost in a world Of crimes and fights The life My life, his life, our lives He is messing up How do we expect for him to come around He needs support But he is always in court In and out of the system Jail, group homes, the streets He's already beat Beat the family To a life of a stranger I look at him different But look at him the same I'll take over and take him away As soon as this publishing deal Gets signed someday!!
