Too Quick
Too quick to speak
Too quick to judge
Just a little nick
Just a soft nudge
And you will reek
With your heightened urge
You heed no advice
You heed not restraint
Rude shock and surprise
Unknown to any saint
Aims at you to suffice
To make your strength faint
All because you refrain
To be upright and to respect
And you could still avert the pain
If you would pause and reflect
And be whole after being slain
And have your purpose resurrect
For God advises love and service
To both He and fellow men
That ye may find solace
In Him and among brethren
That you may end you chase
And live on earth as in heaven
