Too Many Ears

A line in a Dylan song once asked how many seas must a white dove sail before she sleeps at last in the sand; as a fisherman, I've never seen a bird like that snoring on the shore, not on a branch, curling up on land; any pigeon dozing off like that must be a seagull or a pelican, something I've seen and can understand. he also asked how many ears must one man have just to hear people cry, with too many ears, Bob would rather die. well, he didn't know the answer himself, just taking folks for a singing ride, wise-cracking, earning bucks on the side; and when he declared that the answer, my friend, was there blowing in the wind, in confusion I just sighed and grinned!
