Too Many Candles

Too Many Candles If you debuted in this world, Before years were known, There would be no way to commemorate, The year you were born. But days could be counted, First one, then you were two. Because sunup and sundown was all they knew. So rejoice that 52 years are all We now celebrate, Because if you lived, When only days were counted, You’d be 18,988.
