Too Late To Miss You

Since I went away I do not recall ever missing you For all this long: When I saw you today, I know what I was craving for. Every time I longed for touch, Every time I yearned for kiss; Each time I slept alone. That's what I did for so long; Each time I saw a beautiful woman And she did not turn around To see my pain smile. Long lonely nights, Fighting, staring at nothingness, What could a pillow do? My anguish was mine: I had not been good for you, Should I ever leave you again, I swear I want to miss the sweetness you are. Now that I am back, Babe, lets make love And let love make our lives, The past will be a forgetting; I love you and I know Even more when it is too late to miss you.
