Tomorrow Is the Tenth Anniversary of 9-11
The Tenth Anniversary of 9-11 is Tomorrow
By Elton Camp
There are many who don’t know what to do
It’s possible that individual panic will ensue
And to be open about it, I would have to admit
If I lived in NYC or DC, I would be having a fit
Perhaps I would find a reason to be out of town
But denying belief that harm would come around
I might assert confidence that we’re well protected
So, by the government and evil plot will be detected
But better safe than sorry I then decide that I’ll be
And so to a more unlikely target I will quietly flee
For there may come to be a blast so horribly loud
Followed by a mushroom-shaped radioactive cloud
In a couple of days, what happens all will know
If true, I can claim that, “In advance I told you so.”
For that is how a bogus prophet can come to be
Make predictions in generalities and wait and see
That is how Nostradamus came to have such fame
Keep it vague so that others his accuracy acclaim
So, if tomorrow, an atomic device should explode
Gullible may exclaim, “About it that guy knowed.”
But if this “prediction” proves to be entirely rotten
Then this write will be quickly and entirely forgotten
And so, if it is still possible, to CNN please tune in
Perhaps you will hear of my “prediction” once again
