Together In Death, Forever Together

They lived they loved they swore to be Together in this life forever through eternity. Two hearts as one, side by side, A world without the other neither could abide. The virus ravaged, unrelenting, fast, Draining their life force, each fighting to the last, Knowing that minutes not hours remained, Holding hands to then by God be claimed. Their journey ended, but another dawns, Hand in hand walking on God's own lawn, No pain no sorrow, their souls as one, Their great adventure just now begun.
