Together Again 1

Towards the light Towards the place so bright Silence overwhelmed the city Ears activated to listen so intently… A man stood on the building’s top Where all he could see was the heavy fog As well as the mist across the city’s valley That flew towards the alley He stood there with intent eyes And tears across his blind mind Yes…He thought he was blind For the things he did without using his mind He waited and hoped for the mist to go away And the sun to be displayed right away He waited and hoped for the fog to go away For all he wanted was to feel the beauty of the sunlight’s display Towards the light Towards the place so bright Silence overwhelmed the city Ears activated to listen so intently… Suddenly, the man closed his eyes As a soft breeze poked his thighs Gently, it caressed his hair Slowly, it cooled his glare The breeze turned back As it looked at the man’s sad track That was once left by his mischievous acts Splattering tears onto the harsh facts The man opened his eyes As he listened to the breeze’s say “ I shall carry your salute on board As I take it to the one person you’ve loved As I tell her what you feel Hoping your burns shall heal…”
