Today Will Never Be Same As Yesterday
‘Twas a day that no one is there
‘Twas a day to continue its mourn of yesterday.
Silence reveals itself in a more accord way
Came in a loud quietness and slaps its way to my day.
Calm as I want to be, yet disturb when it came
Shouting words I never spit was all I can do to the tune of whistling meadow in my nearby door.
To it, it came
Tearing every hope I have to continue a day.
People ask me of how I feel,
Do I have a problem or anything to share
Silent as I am and paint a smile
Just to exclude myself to explain the real mystery of my day-to-day.
Creating a facade of merry and gay
Is now transformed to weary and gray.
How can I be strong?
if all I am doing is writing poem?
How can I catch the bow and be the archer to shoot its arrow?
If I can’t hold myself and stand firm to what I believe.
I know I can still walk for a day
A couple of days I can say.
Beyond the horizon of where I traverse
I know I can be okay
I just need to pause,
Kneel and PRAY.
