Today Is the Day
TODAY IS THE DAY
Dear sister, dear brother,
There is salvation in no other,
Come to Him, come to Jesus,
No one can save you as He does.
Your life will be made anew,
You'll be among the chosen few,
The conflict inside you will cease,
You will find true inner peace.
If you give your life to Him,
The lights of this world will turn dim;
When you choose the narrow path,
You'll be saved from God's wrath.
You will be filled with such joy,
That others truly cannot enjoy,
Then when trials you'll have to face,
He will give you His sufficient grace.
Yes, He'll make you His bride,
And you can tell it aloud with pride,
If you repent, O ye lost generation,
For today is the day of salvation.
Lord Jesus Christ died for you on the cross,
He counted all His gains, a loss,
He rose up again on the third day,
Just for you, He created a way.
Oh! Believe that He died for you,
That for all your debts, He paid the due,
Repent and trust, you will be saved,
For you, the path of salvation is paved.
All other efforts will go in vain,
Behold! He is coming soon again;
You'll be in heaven with Him one day,
If you accept Him as your Saviour today.
Don't keep waiting for tomorrow,
It may bring you either joy or sorrow,
But verily you can be saved from damnation,
If you haste, for today is the day of salvation.
(Isaiah 55:6- Seek the LORD while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near.
Psalm 95:7b,8- Today, if you will hear His voice: Do not harden your hearts, as in the rebellion, and as in the day of trial in the wilderness.)
