Today
Everything is still
Hushed
Inaudible
Silent
The trees could barely hear each others whisper
And the old man falls quickly in a downward slumber
Just one bird flying in the sky
Just one hope passing by
The heavens pregnant with gladness
Could not contain the clouds sadness
It spills hope of gloom in thin air
spilling showers far and near
peculiar
*****
Bizarre
I searched deeply to find my voice within
A solace voice that has been raging under my skin
I wanted to give them a piece of my mind
But prudence kept me intact
The voice kept shouting above my head
And the message that has been stifled for so long
Found the courage to break out chanting a victory song.
