Today
I had a bottle of cold beer today
waiting for the numbing to sway
me from my feet and unto the bed
I should go out later today
fresh air for my dirty lungs
my room is clean today
I was reading and I ate spicy chips
I had to stop reading, it was burning too much
Today is hot
I sweat a lot
the shower today wasn't hot
I feel good today
