I want to hear what you dream and desire, what sets you free and your eyes afire; what steals over you and makes you whole, what you will love no matter the toll. I want to walk with you through all strife, through all that besets us in this life; through the joys that release your easy smiles, through the deepest depths of despair's defiles. I want to learn how to read all your faces, how to make your heart jump off to the races; how to quiet your tears and fears when they come, how to assure you feel safe in love's soft thrum. I want to feel what it'd be like to grow with you, what it'd be like to be your eventual "I do"; what it'd be like to make that promise and that bet, what it'd be like not to wonder - have we ever met?
