To which image should we cling?

Line of inquiry: To which image should we cling? “We have been here a thousand times before Memory erased, each time we begin anew Of hands held tenderly, we’ve lost the score Each embrace virgin like fresh morning dew To which image, oh dear soul, should we cling For each heart was at some point of time dear As we flow through life with zest, zeal and zing In all forms we see God’s presence appear” Imagine a wheel within a wheel. Each spinning cycle, new reveals Universes of the old, revolving lifetimes to unfold. Deja images remain evolving to a higher plane. Where encore challenges will last, testing frailties of the past. Repeat performance is in store. This revolution demands more of character and steel, from the bolder outer wheel. Caught in life-systems prime, dictated by the shifts of time, two wheels together, spinning transverse, with genetic plan, divinely rehearsed. The inner wheel is young and foolish, spinning free on memories cherished, mind photos of burning tears, lessons taught from yearning years. And now, reflection has begun. The mirrored image has finally come. Has the snake shed its old skin? Or will life-errors be made again? To which image should we cling? That which brings the greater thing, an us the world will long admire, desired Nirvana to acquire. 4/23/2024
