To Use Typewriter Or Piano
Frost’s words set poetry nicely in ice,
“Emotion, finding thought, then words”.
Feelings are fluid; music can more quickly suffice,
But a melody can hold lyrics of smiles or swords,
A poem is chameleon but much more precise.
A poetic phrase has musical tune and chords,
Thus as a home for rhyme, scores can be nice,
But do I want the screaming hordes,
Of such composers spanning Zappa to Brice?
Ivory or plastic, each instrument has a keyboard,
Talent’s the choice, words are easy, and notes are a heist!
