TO THE LEADERS

O leaders, hear this verse I say, For on your actions, we depend each day. You were chosen, with great trust, To help the people, not unjust. But so many now cry in pain, As your greed leads to only gain. Your riches grow, while people starve, How can you lead with such a carve? You take from the poor, day by day, Their lives are drained, in your display. How can you be proud of this feat? How can you stand on such deceit? For leaders, who forsake the weak, Shall find their power will sink and shriek.
