To Poetry World

To Poetry World Have decided to drop out of my poetry group. It is just a waste of time to me. All I do is always receive criticism and complaints. Only themselves poets were deluding So all of them I now an eluding In an effort to avoid a narrow mind And all of them will be leaving behind. Populations each seem to have a segment Consisting of poems which were sent To be elaborated then expanded upon Trying to enjoy things and have fun. So what if poet like me does not behave; After they have led me to my grave On my tombstone will be an inscription Poems should be taken like a prescription. Up to what is all of this nonsense leading When each of my poems you are reading At face value be sure to take each one Realize what to poetry world I have done. This is a deep and meaningful write, James. That first part is sad. It's not nice when what we write is not appreciated. Its good to voice your opinions this way. Thanks for sharing.

Eileen, I was really only feeling sorry for them and taking pity on them. All of this has worn me out so am cutting loose. I always enjoy and appreciate all of your thoughts and ideas. They are always meaningful and constructive. That is the whole essence of Poetry Soup. Jim Horn
