To Myself Have I Lied

Do you know You were my shelter, Do you know You have been my pride When we had Nothing to solder, When it was Long before I cried. I felt your work As a good father Making us Fine and satisfied As “daughter” My job was harder You went far While I had to hide. Now my dear Don’t treat me tougher Don’t hit me With your blaming side I know you, Perfect lover; To myself Have I ever lied? Jessica J. Hanna
