To My Best Friend
On a cold month of may
I see a beautiful soul flying away
And even through you're gone your sweet warm heart will never fade
He turns to smile then gives me a wink
Salty tears being to sink
The wind blows, hard rain poor's
The trees cover but they can't cover the sores
I don't want you to go but don't want you to live to hurt
And have the cancer grow more to burn.
