To Mr Thornton

He claimed I was a young rambuncious lad, very sharp: He knows how to solve a Rubik's Cube and play the harp! But did Mr. Thornton know that I used to be a simple so 'n' so? Family and friends once said, "That piano is just way over your head!" Being the dreamer I took it metaphorically not realizing they were concerned for my safety. And just as quick as one would drop a hat, under half a ton of wood, I became all too flat.

It's all "punnages" in this piece. And after reading C.L. Thornton's funnies I can't help but think these thoughts... ha ha.
