If I could be much younger than I am, with my time in life as yet too brief to give me evidence and cause to change my views. If views I held. I would know such simple ways to right the world and all the people and injustice in it. I’d have such certainty of right and wrong, old failures disregarded, that all my eyes would see of times to come would be my hopes, and of my past, successes. I could show my strength of will with lines drawn deep in evening sands and cancelled by each morning’s tide.
