To Be Kind
The hill is high for all of us
Who must climb and try not to fuss
The days we live weave in and out
And fall like water from a spout
When night arrives upon our step
It’s time to rest without regret
Look back on the day with a smile
For everything seen in a mile
Keep the beauty around your wrist
Gently to hold without a fist
To be kind is a way to know
You have risen above the show
