To Be a Mouse
As I scurry through the door
the fragrance is so sweet.
Oh my goshh I need to eat,
the air is filled with smells of baking bread.
The cookies and cakes are running through my head.
The calories I consume
are faithful friends...
staying with me to the bitter end.
The chocolate and raspberry too
mmm I shall have two...
the decadent flavor meets my taste buds.
I will live here for the crumbs.
As I look for a hole I see just what I need.
Now all I have to do is move in my family.
It is nice to be a mouse in these days and times.
The wasteful humans feed us right nice....
