Times Like These

Its times like these that I wish I could fly, Over the heavens, But underneath the sky, I could watch the world float bye, And you're the most beautiful thing that caught my eye, Your face was glimmering like the sea at night, Then with all my might I came down in front of the one I loved, You turned your head and I fell deeper into thought, The mother of my children I saw, My heart on my sleeve and my head held high, I ask you beautiful lady, Will you be my bride? It's times like these that would make a grown man cry, A time in his life with someone by his side, The stars are the limit between you and I, Please say you'll be mine and I will hold you high, It's times like these when I thank god I'm alive.
