Time To Move Along

I can’t help but cry a river Every time I think of you Just knowing that you’re not with me, leaves me feeling blue I try to leave you out of my mind then I break down on the floor When I realise that it isn’t you knocking on my door Gazing out the window late at night At this sleepy town Watching stars shooting overhead, as the planet spins around The stars turn into your face, smiling down at me I wish you were here right now, I wish you were with me I think about you every day Dancing with you in the pouring rain Hold you so close next to me Darling you and I were meant to be Wake up on my own Realise it was just a dream But I can still feel you breathe floating over me I remember all the times we had now its time to move along To let go on what’s behind me And embrace forever more I think about you every day Dancing with you in the pouring rain Hold you so close next to me Darling you and I were meant to be Who loves forever anyway?
