Time For Peace

The sky blinded by smoke That spoke of innocent slay Valleys echoed screams Soil witnessed bloodshed Fear rode on wind Touching the branches That refused to sway Gunshots fired And bombers attacked Amongst blackened humanity Two innocent hands Came up to the barrier wall Separating two nations Took his palm full of earth And wrote among tears "TIME FOR PEACE" Years and generations flowed Neatly covered in glass case A proclaimed renowned wall And the unknown boy Famous and remembered But the lesson he taught Was never learned And one day A gun shot from nowhere Broke down the glass And the unknown boy Died once again.
