Time and Life

Time. (5 years old) Oh time, how fast you fly by. Oh time, how fast you we say bye. (16 years old)Time. Slow, Fast, Strong. Something we don't have. To grasp on to something we love... that takes time. Our lives go by so fast even though they may seem slow. You spend half your time learning, but learn nothing. (24 years old) You just want to get out there, but life isnt letting you. "Go spend time with happiness!" Time yells. But life says responsibilities first. Time yells "Get off your ass!" Boredom and life says "You need to make a living somehow. Sit your ass back down." Time frowns, "So this is what you're doing with me now? You're gonna keep me here? Rotting away when you can be oUT THERE!!" (40 years old) Life smirks, "Go drink your time away. You got no family, you got no kids. Do it." Time cries. It holds on for as long as it can till it sees you are doing nothing with it. Life cackles "Good. Work." Time falls to its knees and sighs, "Please go do something you're happy with. I cant see you like this. Not like this." (60 years old) Life frowns "You're going so soon." Time sits beside you after your soul departs from your body and smiles at you sadly. "You didn't listen to me." "It was life.... Life was being hard on me. I'm sorry." Time hugs you, "we got all the time in the world now."
