Time:

Be the sands of time flow within thy mind, Every second of the day drifts away, More elusive than the last I do find, It's the nights I cry, I wish they would stay. For it is in the night, that time does cease, Moments before awakening, we're there, Trapped between two worlds, one soon to unleash, Leaving one behind, the one kind and fair. It fascinates me so, how time doth grow, Like a tree in the spring, when evergreen, Can be seen as a river, endless flow, Science can't tell you, that it can be seen. One thing is certain, it has its own law, I just know one thing, I wish I had more.

I READ THIS AND IMMEDIATELY THOUGHT OF ADDING THIS GREAT SONNET TO MY FAV LIST. I want more time myself, once I had no worry about it.. Now my shadow hast grown Past evening tide it doth splash Sad Fate lets it be known High flyers must crash.

Time won't give us time, baby boy. I agree w/Silent One, a great sonnet, Rick. You are just showing off your deductive skills in this poem, eh. Very truthful write. A sensational sonnet. Love and more love to you.

This was fantastic Rick. Time does not stop just because we are a sleep. I don't sleep as much as I should but then again I don't want to miss anything.

In some ways, time is all we have. Can't really cheat the law, but I've always liked to stay up late. Oh lord, I have to get up in 2.5 hours and go to work.

Yeah, for me nights have at least 48 hours per day, and days only have 4 or so. This is a great sonnet and it has more depths than just the difference between night and day. At least, for me it does. Fave. (And I love doth and thy)
