Time
I travel through time, year by year,
Knowing my worth,
My intentions are clear.
Selfless and true, I pray each day,
Not for myself,
But for the lonely and stray.
Time goes on, fast and slow,
Forever and always,
Some of you will never know.
But when it goes by, and all is lost,
It was meant to be,
And not at all cost.
It will always heal, through good and bad,
No matter what happens,
It was all that we had.
By staying true to it, whatever the season,
Even through trouble,
It all has a reason.
