Time
I thought I owned my time. I would do what I wanted with it when I wanted. Grab some here, give some there. And save some for later. Once I thought I would always have as much time as I would ever need. Strangely, time taught me it is a slippery thing. Time says it belongs to no one. We can choose to work together with time and use it wisely. If not you'll find time will leave you. Time once cheap has become more valuable with each passing year. I wanted to give time to my family, my friends, my lover and my God but I planned too much for the time given to me. Sadly as the last of my time is evaporating I realize my heart is broken for the things I didn't do and the words I should have said. So I want to take the time I have left to say I'm sorry and that I love you very much.
