Time

Time is a funny thing I've seen it change human beings A day is a day it is no lie Tell me why some drag while others fly I think of time and all it does How we can't turn it back to how it was See time is a thing that cuts no slack Moving forever forward-never back Time is a father it is true Father time watches over you You meet his sister at the gate His sister’s name lets call her fate Time is a teacher of lessons learned Fate makes sure that they are earned Together they tweak, bend and mold your soul Until a single day is a distant goal Sometimes life gets so insane To look ahead causes to much pain And looking back tears apart What is left of the heart?
