Time
Staring at the clock
tic - toc - tic - toc
Shadows on the wall
Hopeless thoughts
My mind full of knots
Ignoring the day’s song
Without closing my eyes
I see through all the lies
Suddenly I feel lighter
Wings stretched out
Cast out all doubt
Now I’m ready to fly
Everything changes in time
